Deborah Louise Riley Everson, b. 11/Oct/1958, d. 12/May/2025

Debra Louise (Riley) Everson, age 66, of Batavia, NY, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2025. Born on October 11, 1958, Debra was known for her generous spirit, love for her family, and dedication to serving others.
Debra had a heart for community service. During her time in Batavia, she volunteered faithfully at the Salvation Army and Ken Barrett Auto, where her kindness and work ethic were deeply appreciated. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and bring light to those around her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Jean (Vanguilder) Riley, her husband Rexford “Grant” Everson, and her grandson, Rylunn Thompson.
Debra is survived by her brother, Steven Riley, and her devoted sister, Jan (Riley) Sandreth. She leaves behind her children: Shane (Angela) Thompson, Michael Thompson, and Jennifer Cejka, as well as her grandchildren: Ben, Emma, Kiela, Devon, James, Angelique, and Savannah, who brought her immense pride and joy.
Debra would like to express her deepest gratitude to her sister Jan, who lovingly helped her return home during her final days, and to her dear friend Ardell “Dee,” whose support and encouragement meant so much throughout her time in Batavia.
Debra’s legacy of love, faith, and service will live on through her family and all who were blessed to know her.
A Celebration of life will be held on June 7th at 3:00 PM at the family homestead.

“I’m currently on disability I live in assisted living facility for senior citizens as I am no longer able to take care of myself I’m by myself I am on oxygen 24/7 but I still needed a very active life I have three children I have eight grandchildren arranging from age of 13 to 18 and a blessing in disguise I love to crochet and read watch a little bit of television and play cards I used to enjoy camping and gardening as much as possible I was a great outdoors person I’ve been starting to attend church again and finding my place in God’s life I trust him in all my affairs when I’m in pain or sorrow I turned to him he works well in my life that’s it for now folks”
