When you were a little smart scientist, did you ever participate in a science fair? Did you ever have a project you wanted to do, aside from the obligatory baking soda volcano?

I really like taking clear elmers glue, borax, and highlighter ink and making a polymer of it

Lol, I can't make anuthing general enough. I have 3 of of my 4 participating, and they have to follow the scientific method including one or more controls. There just isn't enough ideas >. <

When is it?

I think early May. I was gathering ideas. My youngest (who is somewhat of an esteemed artist) might be taking a powdered paint and a white piece of thick paper, mixing the solid with water/milk/bleach/whatever liquid, drawing a line, and measuring time to dry and proving opinion on how it looks in comparison to other colors.

I think my oldest son is going to work thr open circuit/closed circuit project where he uses certain materials to determine conductivity/resistance and possibly measure them with a meter.

milk and bleach may not be good carries for paint >.>

The idea is to explore, so if he decides or not, it'll be real interesting
